Srinagar – State Secretary CPI(M) and MLA Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, has bashed the administration and described the non-implementation of the govt decision regarding increase of emoluments of RETs from Rs. 1500 to Rs. 3000 as criminal negligence and insensitive attitude.
In a statement issued here today, Tarigami pointed out that the decision was announced by the govt. in the state legislative assembly during the budget session in February this year but has not been implemented till date. This negligence has generated great frustration among RETs which in turn tells upon the education of young children at the primary level. The CPI(M) leader urged the administration to take up the matter on priority and release the increased emoluments to the incumbent with arrears.
