Srinagar: Militant outfit Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen on Thursday claimed responsibility for the attack on CRPF camp in Khayam area of Srinagar city.
In an emailed statement to Srinagar based newsgathering agency Global News Service (GNS), the spokesman of Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen said that its cadres carried out the attack by hurling grenade on Ikhwan hotel late today evening.
The militant group said it had attacked the forces camp. In the attack, the spokesman claimed that four force personnel were killed while seven others received injuries.
Many forces vehicles also suffered damage due to the blasts, the spokesman said.
After carrying out the attack, the cadres of the outfit reached their destinations safely, the spokesman said. He said that entire Kashmir Valley has been converted into a garrison ahead of the Indian Prime Ministers visit. (GNS)
