28-year-old man found dead under mysterious conditions in Poonch

Poonch—Police on Tuesday recovered a body of a 28-year-old person under mysterious conditions in forest area of Mendhar in border Poonch district.

Official sources told GNS that some locals spotted the body lying in the forest area of Bonala and immediately informed the concerned police station about it.

A police team reached the site and recovered the body, they said.

A police officer while confirming the incident and identified the deceased as Azad Parvez (28) son of Mohammed Iqbal of Chatral Mendhar.

Azad according to the official was missing since last two days.

The body has been taken to Sub-District Hospital Mendhar for conducting all legal Medico formalities including the postmortem.

"A case  under 174 CrPc was registered and further investigations initiated to ascertain the cause of death," the official added.
