Srinagar—All educational institutions remained closed for the second day on Friday in the Kashmir valley.
The Joint Resistance Leadrship (JRL) have called for protests after Friday prayers against braid chopping incidents.
On Thursday authorities closed all educational institutions as a precautionary measure after JRL had urged students to hold protests in their respective institutions against braid chopping incidents.
The Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan in a fresh direction ordered closure of all government and private schools, colleges and other institutions in the valley as a precautionary measure.
