SRINAGAR At least twenty people were injured in clashes with State forces near the shoot out site at Gahand Shopian.
Two militants were killed during a brief shoot out with forces in an orchard at Gahand.
Soon after shoot out, youth clashed with state forces in the nearby area, locals said
Doctors at Shopian hospital said that total 20 persons with pellet injuries were brought to hospital.
Four were referred to Srinagar for further treatment.
Two militants, identified as Shahjahan Mir of Amshipora and Abid Hussain Wagay of Rawalpora in Shopian, were killed in a brief shootout with the forces.
Internet was suspended in the district soon after the gunfight broke out
Meanwhile, militants appeared at the funerals of two slain local militants in Shopian and offered gun salute.
Reports said that thousands of people participated in the funerals.
