Jammu: Peoples Democratic Party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed met with Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra at Raj Bhavan in Jammu.
PDP Spokesperson Nayeem Akhtar refused to comment on the issue however, a senior PDP leader on condition of anonymity said that both Mufit Muhammad Sayeed and the Governor discussed the present political scenario of the State. Of course the meeting was about the government formation and how to end the deadlock persisting from past couple of weeks, he said.
Official sources said that both had a two-hour dinner meeting. It was for the first time since the Assembly results that PDP patron met the Governor of the State. Earlier, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti had a detailed meeting with the Governor last month. (CNS)
