Srinagar- Chairman J&K RTI Movement Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat has hailed the decision of the Government for regularization of 12000 casual employees of JK Power Department. In a statement Dr Raja Muzaffar appealed to the Government for regularisation of other daily wagers as well, especially the consolidated health workers who work on very meagre wages from the last many decades.
“ RTI Movement welcomes the decision of the Government for regularizing services of 12000 power department casual employees. These employees were rendering exemplary services during harsh weather conditions in J&K and we appreciate the decision taken by LG Manoj Sinha. We appeal that the Govt must also regularize services of other casual and consolidated employees especially those working in the health department. The consolidated employees such as sweepers , drivers have done commendable job during COVID 19 pandemic and Govt must not forget the same “ said Dr Raja Muzaffar
