Srinagar- State forces on Sunday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (in apple township of Sopore in north Kashmir , official source said.
They said on a tip off about the presence of militants, troops of 22 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), CRPF and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint search operation at village Warpora area of Sopore early this morning.
All exit points were sealed and house-to-house searches launched, sources said adding so far no contact was established with the militants.
