
New Delhi- The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the proposal for appointment of the three Additional Judges as Permanent Judges in the High Court of J&K and Ladakh.
They include Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal, Justice Rajesh Sekhri, and Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani, according to a statement issued by the Supreme Court.
Hailing from Katra, Justice Nargal was appointed as Additional Judge of the High Court on 1 June 2022 and took oath of office two days later.
Justice Sekhri, born in Jammu, was elevated as Additional Judge of the High Court on 27 July 2022 and took oath two days later.
Similarly, Justice Wani, born in village Brinty Batapora of District Anantnag assumed the charge of his office upon being administered the oath of office on 25 March last year.
