Srinagar- A minor on Thursday was drowned to death whereas another was rescued in Hapatkhai Nalla area or Boniyar in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials said that two minors slipped into Nalla in Hapathkhai. Soon locals rescued both of the minors and were shifted to PHC Boniyar where one of the minors was shifted to GMC Hospital. However he was declared dead, reported news agency GNS.
The deceased has been identified as Mateen Bilal(3) son of Zahoor Ahmad whereas another minor identified as Hadir Zahoor(5) son of Zahoor Ahmad Tantray is said to be stable. Both are residents of Boniyar.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
