Srinagar- In a massive crackdown following the deadly terrorist attack in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir Police have detained over 500 individuals, including Over Ground Workers (OGWs), terror associates, and suspects with past militant links, during overnight raids across the valley.

Among the victims, ex-Territorial Army soldier Manzoor Ahmad Wagay succumbed to his injuries, while his wife Aaina Akhtar (32) and a minor girl Sania Hameed (13) were injured and are currently stable.
A senior police officer said confirmed the mass detentions, stating, “We are conducting extensive operations to track down those with terror links and prevent further attacks.”
Authorities have assured that investigations are in full swing and all detained individuals are being questioned for their potential involvement in militant activities. The security grid remains on high alert to prevent any further incidents in the region. (KDC)
