Srinagar- A court here has rejected bail application of two accused persons including a resident of New Delhi in connection with alleged supply of banned drugs.

“Having regards to the nature of allegation, evidence on record so far and rigors of section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted in the present case. …..I am of the considered opinion, that this is the fit case, where bail ought not be granted, and the applicants/accused persons too have failed to carve out a case for bail in their favour,” 1st. Addl. Sessions judge Srinagar, Khursheed-ul Islam said while rejecting bail plea by Tufail Ahmad Chota, a resident of Nowhatta Srinagar and Shakir Khan of Batla House Jamia Nagar Delhi

“If they are granted bail at this stage there is every apprehension that the accused persons will repeat the offences,” the court said.
