Army Commander Reviews LoC Situation in Poonch

Poonch- Army’s Northern Commander Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi Friday visited Surankote sector to review operational preparedness, security situation as well as to oversee augmentation of operational capability.

Army said that Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, Army Commander Northern Command, visited forward areas of Surankote sector where he reviewed the overall security situation in the sub division.

“The Army Commander was briefed on operational preparedness, security situation and augmentation of operational capability,” Army said. He exhorted troops to maintain highest state of readiness to meet all contingencies
