J&K Logs 25 Cases, One Covid Death

Srinagar- At least 25 more people tested positive for Coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, while one more person succumbed to the deadly infection in the Union Territory during the last 24 hours.

According to officials, Kashmir Valley registered 21 new cases of Covid-19, while the remaining four were detected in Jammu division, taking the total number of people infected since the onset of the pandemic in J&K to 478972.

Also, the officials said that one more person died of Covid-19 related complications in Jammu, raising the fatality count to 4785—2352 in Jammu division and 2433 in the Valley.

Besides, they said, 46 Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—31 from Jammu division and 15 from Kashmir Valley. There are now 172 active cases— 61 in Jammu and 111 in Kashmir.
