Body Of Teenage Girl Retrieved From Jhelum In Srinagar After Two Days

Srinagar- The body of teenage girl was retrieved from river Jhelum on Friday morning, two days after jumping into the river at Cement Kadal in Noorbagh area of Srinagar, officials said here.

News agency KNO quoting official sources reported that body of 15-year-old girl was retrieved by sand extractors and river Police Srinagar at Palpora area of Noorbagh after hectic efforts.

They identified the deceased as Ulfat Bashir daughter of late Bashir Ahmad of Bagwanpora Noorbagh.

Meanwhile, an official said that body will be handed over to family after completing legal formalities.
