J&K Bank Commissions 3 ATMs In Srinagar

Srinagar- Deepening its footprint further to meet the growing banking needs of the people, J&K Bank Thursday commissioned three more ATMs in Srinagar taking the Bank’s ATM network in Kashmir to 837 and to 1409 in the country.

The Bank’s MD & CEO, Baldev Prakash today snapped the inaugural ribbon of the ATM at Kralsangri, Brein besides inaugurating the other two Teller Machines at Usmania Colony Bagh-e-mehtab and Siddiq Abad Batamaloo through virtual mode in presence of Divisional Head & General Manager Syed Shafat Hussain Rufai, DGM Sajad Hussain Malik, Cluster Heads and other officers of the Bank.

Speaking on the occasion, MD & CEO, Baldev Prakash said, “With customer convenience at the heart of Bank’s operations, commissioning of these ATMs is part of deepening drive to meet the growing banking needs of the people by providing state-of-the-art banking facilities at their nearest possible and convenient destination.”

On the occasion, while urging the public to avail the Bank’s facilities, Divisional Head (Kashmir) Syed Shafat Hussain said, “The ATM has been installed to meet the immediate banking requirements of local population in addition to the growing footfall of tourists visiting Dal-Lake along with the adjacent sites of sight-seeing.”

Meanwhile, President J&K Employees Coordination Committee Shah Fayaz along with other office-bearer today called on Bank’s MD & CEO Baldev Prakash to discuss issues related to the recently launched ‘Phone pe Loan’.

During the meeting he also requested for increasing the limit of Cash Credit loan scheme for the employees. MD & CEO assured the visitors that the Bank would address all the genuine issues besides looking into the matter of enhancing the limit of cash credit scheme of government employees.
