Army Soldier, Civilian Injured In Ongoing Anantnag Encounter

Srinagar- An Army soldier and a civilian have been injured in an ongoing encounter that  broke out at Rishipora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.

News agency GNS quoting a police officer reported that during initial exchange of firing one army personnel and a civilian received bullet wounds.

Both the injured have been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment, the officer said.

Meanwhile exchange firing was going on when this report was being filed.
