Srinagar- In mainland India Zomato and Swiggy might be the best food delivery apps, but in Kashmir a local app “Hizmet” is making a name for itself.

The Hizmet app took its first order on 12th August 2020, on the first day of its launch, and to date, the Hizmet group has delivered around twenty thousand orders. They’ve never looked back ever since.

It all began with the founder’s dream of bridging the gap between the consumer and the finished product, food. To diminish delivery time is a main priority at Hizmet.  With the average delivery time of 27 minutes we would certainly state that the Hizmet group is doing impressively well.

The Hizmet app has about 350+ restaurants listed, and is primarily operational in Srinagar, Baramulla and Sopore.  With the delivery fleet consisting of 50 enthusiastic deliverymen, you know that your order is in safe hands.

Currently the Hizmet app is running a food festival in which the minimum order amount has been brought down to a mere Rs. 100. On top of that the ongoing discount of flat 20% off just makes the already sweet experience sweeter.

We certainly recommend ordering your next flavour some meal from the Hizmet app.

The App is available for both IOS and Android Platforms.

The media in Kashmir, comprising a robust English and vernacular press has a particularly unenviable job to do. The problems faced by it are both universal to the conflict situations and unique to the region. Read More
