Sarpanch Shot At In Srinagar’s Khonmoh, Critical

Srinagar- A Sarpanch was shot at and critically injured in Khonmoh area in the outskirts of Srinagar on Wednesday.

A police officer said that militants fired upon the Sarpanch Sameer Ahmad Bhat at Khonmoh, leaving him critically injured.

The injured was shifted to hospital and his condition is stated to be critical, the officer added, as per news agency GNS.

“He has 1-2 bullets in his chest. Presently he is being operated upon,” Medical Superintendent of the hospital Dr. Kanwaljeet Singh said “His condition is critical,” he added.
