Ranji Trophy: J&K All Out For 259 Against Railways On Day 1

Qamran Iqbal top scores with 83 in 5000th Ranji match

CHENNAI- Jammu & Kashmir were bowled out for 258 against Railways on Thursday, the day one of the Ranji Trophy Elite Group C match. Opening batter Qamran Iqbal top-scored for J&K with a blistering knock of 83 (98).

For the Railways, captain and leg-spinner Karn Sharma led from the front with 6 for 76.

Henan Nazir 34 (97) and Auqib Nabi 44 (130) made 64-run stand for the ninth wicket to take J&K to a respectable total.

Railways were 0 for 0 after one over and will look to bat their way into a commanding lead on day 2.

The J&K-Railways match is a milestone 5000th Ranji Trophy match.
