“In order to provide better & timely patient care services, it is hereby impressed upon all the Chief Medical Officers, Medical superintendents, Block Medical Officers and other Incharge Administrators of the health institutions to ensure that all the medical and surgical procedures of utmost urgency are done on the basis of RAT test reports of the patients, after following the COVID SOPs properly as per WHO guidelines,” it reads, adding, “This circular is issued in the interest of better patient care in view of surge in COVID-19 cases.”
