Srinagar: The wildlife officials on Saturday captured a black bear in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
The villagers in Sopat Tangpora spotted a bear roaming around a non-functional water tank of Jal Shakti department and instantly informed the wildlife department officials about it, reports said Saturday. A team of officials, reports said, reached the spot and captured the beast.
The bear, according to the reports, was later shifted and released in Wildlife sanctuary Sedow in the neighbouring Shopian district.
