Premier League: Police XI, SCFA Register Wins

Police win 6-1 vs Ali Jana, SCFA beat F&S XI 2-0

SRINAGAR: Two matches of the JKFA Premier Division were played on Saturday at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar.

In the first match, J&K Police XI thrashed Ali Jana FC by 6 goals to 1 in a one sided match.

The Police team dominated the play right from start with Hameem Fayaz opening the account for the Police team in just 6th minute. Vivek Dogra double Police’s lead just 10 minutes later.

Ali Jana FC pulled one back in the 30th minute through Shahid. However, Amir Hussain scored J&K Police XI’s third goal in 35th minute. At halftime the score was 3-1 in favour of the Police team.

The second half was no different as Police players kept attacking and in the 55th minute, Neeraj Bahadur made it 4-1. Ishfaq then scored the fifth goal and Faisal, the sixth goal for Police XI in the 75th minute. The match ended with 6:1 in favour of J&K Police XI. Ishfaq Ahmad of Police team was declared man of the match.

The second Premier Divsion match of the day was played between Sports Council Football Academy (SCFA) and Food & Supplies XI.

Jk Sports Council Academy defeated Food and Supplies XI 2-0.

In the 16th minute of the game, Sahil of SCFA scored the first goal of the match. In the 23rd Minute, Pavez doubled SCFA’s lead. The first half ended 2-0 to SCFA boys.

In the second half both teams tried hard to score but the match ended with 2-0 in favour of J&K Sports Council Football Academy. Parvez of SCFA was declared man of the match.
