Super Division League: Fortview FC, Kashmir United FC Win Matches

SRINAGAR: In the ongoing DFA Srinagar Annual Football League Tournament 2021, two matches of the Super Division League were played on Thursday at Synthetic Turf TRC here.

The first match of the day was played between Fortview FC & Rangreth FC.

It was dominating performance from Fortview FC as they completely routed Rangreth FC from the start. The Fortview team played aggressive football and defeated Rangreth FC 3-1. Fortview FC’s Riyaz scored a hat-trick with his goals coming in the 12th, 35th and 45th minute. For Rangreth FC Shahzan scored the club’s solitary goal in 22nd minute.

The second match was played between Kashmir United FC and Etihad FC.

The Etihad FC boys presented a good show in the beginning but could not with stand the pressure exerted by the Kashmir United players.

In the 31st minute, Kashmir United FC opened the scoring thanks to a mistake by Etihad FC Goalkeeper. The first half ended 1-0 in favour of Kashmir United FC.

In the second half, Kashmir United doubled their lead through Zooman. In 38th minute Amit of Kashmir United FC increased the margin by scoring another goal. Etihad FC players tried hard to find the net and they missed a few opportunities.

Kashmir United FC defeated Etihad FC by 3 goals to nil.

The Super Division League Tournament is being organised by District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar, under the aegis of Jammu & Kashmir Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
