KU, JKBOSE Cancel Exams

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir board of school education and (JKBOSE) and the Kashmir University on Thursday announced cancellation of examinations in view of restrictions imposed after the death of separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani.

JKBOSE postponed Bi-annual examinations for class 10 and 12th of Kashmir division that were scheduled to be held on September 3 and September 5 respectively, an official said.

Similarly, the KU also postponed all the undergraduate exams that were slated for September 2 and 3.

“New dates will be announced shortly,” the official said.
