DFA Srinagar Super Division: Court Road FC Register Win, RKFC Draw

SRINAGAR: Two matches of the Super Division were played on Monday in the ongoing DFA Srinagar Annual Football League Tournament 2021, at the Synthetic Turf TRC here.

The first match was played between Real Kashmir U-18 and Etihad FC, Nowgam. Both the football teams played the match with an aggressive tone looking to dominate each other’s halves. Both the teams, however, found it difficult to find the net. Etihad FC was offensive right from the start of the match and missed two to three one on one opportunities.

The young squad of Real Kashmir U-18 also played a good game and but failed to find the net. Both the team had a tough defensive set up and prevented their opponents’ forward lines to penetrate. No one was able to score till the final whistle and the match ended as a goalless draw.

The second match of Super Division was played between Court Road FC and Fortview FC. The match started with a scintillating display of attacking football, with Hyder of Court Road FC finding the net for his team in the 15th minute of the game.

Fotview FC also exhibited quality football and created some good chances but failed to find the net for an equalising goal. The match ended with 1-0 in favour of Court Road FC.

The Super Division League is being organised by the JKFA in collaboration with JKSC.
