SRINAGAR: The Jammu & Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) has released the much-awaited fixture list for the JK Professional League 2021-22 season. The top two teams will get nominated to play in this year’s Hero I-League 2nd Division.
Organised by the JKFA, the Pro League will start from July 12 with two matches set to be played at the Synthetic Turf Ground TRC in Srinagar. The opening day fixtures will see Kashmir Avengers FC take on Downtown Heroes FC, with kick off at 3:00 pm. The second match will see Lonestar Kashmir FC lock horns with Jammu-based club Shaheen FC at 5:15 pm.
J&K Bank XI will play their first match of the League on July 13 against Hyderya Sports FC while Sports Council Football Academy (SCFA) will take on Real Kashmir FC (Reserves) on the same day.
It is worth mentioning that J&K Bank XI, SCFA and Real Kashmir FC will not be able to play the I-League 2nd Division, being a departmental team, a Government academy and a reserves team, respectively. Leaving the rest of the five clubs to battle it out for the top two positions.
