Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday recorded 280 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the infection count to 3,17,761, while four deaths raised the toll to 4,349, officials said.
Of the fresh cases, 131 were from the Jammu division and 149 from the Kashmir division of the union territory, the officials said.
They said Srinagar and Reasi districts recorded a maximum of 49 new cases each while Doda district recorded 36 such cases.
The number of active cases has dropped to 3,439 in the union territory, while 3,09,973 patients have recovered so far, the officials said.
The mucormycosis (black fungus) infection tally in the union territory remains unchanged at 30 with no further addition, they said.
