Govt Cancels 11th, 12th Class Board Exams

Srinagar- Amid prevailing Covid scenario, the government on Wednesday cancelled all pending JKBOSE examinations for the session 2020-21 in Jammu and Kashmir.

“In view of safety and well-being of students due to Covid pandemic, all pending JKBOSE Examinations session 2020-21 (Regular/Private) for final exams of class XI and XII across JKUT for which examination/results are awaited, are cancelled, ” tweeted office of the  Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

“The detailed procedure for publishing results along with a scheme of marking will be completed by JKBOSE shortly, it further said.

Pertinently, the decision has came a week into Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement to cancel the CBSE Class 12 board examinations.
