Covid-19 Surge: 84-Hour Lockdown In Srinagar From 7 PM Tomorrow

Srinagar- Amid rising number of covid-19 cases, administration has ordered a  84-hour “complete lockdown” in Srinagar from 7 p.m. tomorrow.

“There will be Complete Lockdown in Srinagar District from 7:00 pm Thursday (29/04/2021) to 7:00 am Monday (03/05/2021). Exemptions apply to essential services. Detailed order shall follow,” said Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, in a tweet.

The announcement comes a day after the administration ordered imposition of 144 CrpC, banning the assembly of five or more persons in the summer capital of the J&K.
