Srinagar: Two people, including a former militant on Friday were arrested with grenades in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Abid Hasan Waza, a former militant and Shabir Ahmed Mir both residents of Bandipora were apprehended by a joint team of police, army and CRPF at a checkpoint established near Papchan on the basis of specific information, a local news agency KNT reported while quoting an unnamed police official. Two grenades, the official said were seized from them.
