DPS Students Win Medals in Wushu

SRINAGAR:  Two students of the DPS Srinagar- Ehsaan Ashraf Baktoo of Learning Resource Centre, and Qariyah Faisal won two medals in district championship organised by Srinagar District Wushu association under the banner of Wushu Association of J&K at Gindun Stadium Rajbagh.
Qariyah won a Gold Medal in Taolu while Ehsaan won silver in Sanda (fighting). Congratulating the students, Vice Principal Shafaq Afshaan said “The success of the students is a heart-warming occasion, and proves the school’s commitment to include every student in the quest for intelligence.”
The chairman Vijay Dhar also congratulated the students and said “I am delighted that our students have tasted the pinnacle of success. The success of the student of LRC delights me most as it proves our endeavour of inclusivity is well founded and showing results.”
