Two CRPF Men Injured In Anantnag Grenade Attack

Srinagar: Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on Wednesday were injured in a grenade attack in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Suspected militants on Wednesday evening lobbed a grenade towards the personnel of CRPF 40 battalion in Lal Chowk area of the south Kashmir township, officials said. The grenade attack left two CRPF personnel injured.

The injured paramilitary men were removed to the nearby hospital for treatment.

Soon after the attack, the state forces laid a cordon around the area and launched a manhunt to nab the attackers.
