Burglars’ Strike Srinagar Shrine

Srinagar: Unknown burglars struck a revered shrine in Old City of Srinagar and decamped with cash, triggering outrage among the people, reports said Saturday.

According to the reports, the locals were taken by shock when they found cash from a chest located in the lawns of the shrine of Mir Shamsuddin Araki (RA) at Zadibal looted by burglars.

“We are really concerned over such incidents and demand stern punishment for the culprits,” said a local.

A police official from Zadibal Police Station said that a case has been registered and efforts are on to nab the culprits.
