Srinagar: Unknown burglars struck an abandoned house in north Kashmir’s Tangmarg as the family is currently under quarantine at a government run health facility, reports said Tuesday.
Taking advantage of the family in quarantine, unidentified burglars broke into the house of Muhammad Akbar Ganai in Hardu Chiloo village of Tangmarg decamped with many valuable items, news agency KNT reported. All the family members were placed under quarantine after 3 positive cases of Covid-19 surfaced in three of the family members.
In the same village, 14 positive cases of coronavirus have been found so for.
Station House Officer, Police Station Tangmarg said that were ascertaining the facts and a formal case in this regard has been registered.
