SRINAGAR – One person was killed and another was injured when a truck falls into a nallah on Srinagar-Jammu national highway on Monday, official sources said.
They said a truck on way to Jammu from Qazigund skidded off the road and fell into a nallah in Ramban area on the highway.
Rescue operation was immediately launched, they said adding two persons were rescued in injured condition. However, one of them was declared brought dead, sources said.
They were driver and conductor of the truck, they said adding the identity of the deceased was being ascertained.
