SRINAGAR - For the fourth time, a local court on Thursday directed jail authorities to present Muhammad Yasin Malik and other Hurriyat leaders in a 21- year- old case.

Several separatist leaders appeared before the court of 3rd Munsif Fozia Pal here in Srinagar in a case registered by police 21 years ago, sources said. Those who appeared in court were Prof. Abdul Gani Bhat, Javaid Ahmed Mir, Wajahat Bashir Qureshi, Muhammad Sidiq Shah, Sheikh Aslam and others.

The court after hearing the arguments from the lawyers Advocate GN Shaheen, Advocate Babar Qadri, Advocate Ajaz Ahmed Dar and Advocate Tahoor Mushtaq Pampori once again issued production warrants to in-charge prisons including Tihar Jail and Srinagar Central Jail where Muhamamd Yasin Malik, Shahidul Islam and others are lodged .

The Court directed prosecution to produce witnesses and also produced all the accused including Geelani and Malik and others.

The case has been listed for next hearing on December 23.
