BANIHAL (RAMBAN) – Two persons were killed when a vehicle skidded off the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and rolled down into gorge in Ramban district on Thursday, officials said.
The vehicle carrying poultry from Punjab to Kashmir rolled down into a 1000-meter deep gorge near Digdool, they said.
One of the deceased has been identified as Rakesh Singh son of Jaswant Singh of Nowrangpora Pathankot. The identity of another deceased person is being ascertained by the police., they added.
