SRINAGAR Parvez Ahmed, former Jammu and Kashmir Bank Chairman, who was removed unceremoniously on Saturday, said that he has no regrets for the action taken by the governor administration and was open to scrutiny.
“Absolutely no regrets. Did my job most diligently, honestly and in the best interest of the institution. Open to scrutiny on each and every transaction I have done during my two decades of functioning in the bank,” Pervez Ahmad tweeted.

The former chairman was removed today by the Governor administration and immediately Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths raided the Corporate Office of the bank here in Srinagar.
The Governor administration appointed R K Chhibber as new interim chairman and Managing Director of the Board of Directors.
