Highway Decision Taken In Haste, Must Be Revoked: JK Cong Chief

SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir, on Thursday said that prohibiting traffic movement on Jammu Srinagar National Highway from Baramulla for two days in a week was a decision taken in haste.

 

He sad it will add more problems besides creating a confusion among the people anmd demanded the prohibition order must be revoked in the larger interests of people.

 

“In my opinion the Govt has taken the decision in haste that will prove to be perilous to civilians, so I emphasize the Govt to revoke the prohibition order forthwith in the larger interest of common people,” G.A. Mir added and asked the Govt not to create confusion under the garb of upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in the State, as that , the elections have and will continue to happen in the State, G.A Mir said.
