NEW DELHI To highlight the exclusion of Kashmiris in the peace talks between India and Pakistan, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik plans an exhibition in the capital on Saturday. The separatist leader is organising a two-day showcase – “Voices of Peace, Voices of Democracy” – of 1.5 million signatures, 100 hours of unedited video footage of public meetings and 5,000 related photographs.
Malik told IANS; “The objective behind this exhibition is to drive home the point that the aspirations of ordinary people in Kashmir have been ignored. Their participation in the peace process is imperative.”
He said it took him and an eight-member JKLF team over two years to prepare for the show.
Malik traversed 5,000 Villages to obtain signatures from the elderly, the unemployed, women, farmers and even children
