Srinagar: ‘Sahuliyat Kashmir’ held an open mic session #LetWomenSpeak at Winterfell cafe here on Sunday.

The event attended by scores of participants saw women speakers sheding light on various aspects of their life and struggles.

“The event was held to give women the privilege to speak about their lives, sufferings, ascents and descents and how they fought their unknown battles alone despite negligence of society”, ‘Sahuliyat Kashmir’ said in a statement.

Those who spoke on the occasion included columnist Azra Mufti  and Radio Jockey Mehak Zubair of Radio Mirchi, besides others.
