CRPF Bunker Attacked With Grenade At Lal Chowk

SRINAGAR — Suspected militants made an abortive attempt on CRPF by hurling a grenade  at the paramilitary forces bunker at Lal Chowk here.  

“There was a grenade attack on 132 BN of CRPF at Palladium. No loss of life reported,” said Sanjay Sharma, PRO CRPF.

Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed the responsibility of the grenade attack on a CRPF bunker at Lal Chowk in Srinagar.

A JeM spokesperson Mohammad Hassan said the attack was in revenge for its slain commander Nasir Khan alias Abdul Rehman, news agency GNS quoted from a Jaish statement.
