4 Rifles Missing From Official Residence Of Congress Leader In Srinagar

SRINAGAR — Four rifles have gone missing from the official residence of former MLC  and senior congress leader Muzaffar Parray at Jawaharnagar area of Srinagar city in Central Kashmir.

News agency GNS quoting Official sources reported that four AK-47 rifles have gone missing from the guard room of the former legislator’s official residence at J-13 Govt Quarters Jawaharnagar.  

“We are investigating as to how these weapons went missing,” said SSP Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Parray

Meanwhile, official sources said that all the four policemen, three are from security wing and another from District Police Sopore posted at the MLCs residence have been summoned for questioning while the authorities have also ordered an enquiry to ascertain the incident.

Sources said that the former MLC is out of state since last one month.
