Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs has a unique service Jago-Grahak-Jago on its website wherein consumers can lodge their complaints about dealers and manufacturers of various commodities.
But this unique service is totally ineffective when there is absolutely no response either from those against whom complaints are filed nor there is a provision of providing feedback on resolution of the complaints lodged. Examples are complaints registered through numbers 9984401 dated 09.09.2018 and 9984581 dated 11.09.2018 respectively.
Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs spending so much on media-publicity of the service, should ensure time-bound redressal and subsequent feedback taken from those having lodged the complaints.
