NEW DELHI The Supreme Court of India will today hear the fresh petition against the Article 35A of Indian Constitution, reported ANI.
The petition has been filed by lawyer and BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay.
The main hearing in the case is likely to be heard on August 31.
Article 35-A of the Indian Constitution bars outsiders from buying immovable property in the Jammu and Kashmir.
The resistance leadership has called for shutdown in Jammu and Kashmir on August 30 and 31 to protest the petitions challenging the Article 35-A.
