Foreign Couple From Israel Rescued By SDRF In Leh

SRINAGAR — A foreign couple was rescued by timely operation by SDRF personnel from a trapped on a rock hill in Leh district of Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, an official spokesman said here on Wednesday afternoon.

He said SDRF Leh received an information that a foreign couple has been stuck on a rock hill in a village Liker-Saspochay in Leh.

Incharge Deputy Controller Civil Defence Leh Ladakh deputed a five-member team for the rescue operation.

After conducting a search the SDRF team spotted the foreign couple on a steep rock hill.

The couple were rescued safely by the trained SDRF team, he said adding tourists were identified as Dubiniwski Barak and Fragin Chasys Mushka from Israel.
