Mudasir, according to family had gone to Saudi Arabia in 2016.
The family members have been protesting from past three weeks demanding the body of Mudasir. Even the State Governor had assured legislator Engineer Rasheed that body will be handed over to family, but nothing happened on the ground. We have been protesting in vain as authorities, particularly police are unmoved, the sister of slain youth said.
Protesters blocked road on Barzulla Bridge prompting police to use pepper spray to disperse the protesters, most of them women.
Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Police Chief SP Vaid said that the body will be handed over to the family once they receive DNS report. As soon we receive DNA report, we will hand over the body to family, Vaid said.
