SrinagarJammu Kashmir Government has invited Clerical Cadre for talks to resolve pay anomaly issue. However, instead of inviting the incumbent president of JK Ladakh All Departments Clerical Association Ali Muhammad Mir, order issued by Private Secretary to Minister for Finance, Labour and Employment mentions Muhamamd Sultan as President who has left the post a year ago.
The government has ironically not invited Nazir Ahmed Bhat who represents Clerical Cadre for Jammu.
We are surprised the way invitees have been mentioned in the government order. Not Muhammad Sultan but Ali Muhammad Mir is our president. Jammu based representative Nazir Ahmed Bhat has not been invited for the meeting that is scheduled to be held on Sunday (May 6) at Banquet Hall Srinagar, said a group of clerks threatening to boycott the meeting if government doesnt issue the correct order.
The order issued by personal section of the Minister for Finance, Labour and Employment reads: The Minister for Finance, Labour and Employment has desired to convene a meeting of 6/5/2016 at 5 pm at Banquet Hall Srinagar regarding the issues related Clerical Cadre. Chief Secretary J&K and Principal Secretary Finance will also be participating in the meeting.
Even date in the order is incorrect. Instead of 2018, they have mentioned 2016. I think they have copy pasted the 2016 order and issued it without any verification. In 2016, Muhammad Yousuf was president and the present order is replica of todays order. This is sheer negligence on part of the personal section department, said a members of the Clerical Association.
