SrinagarLadakh Scouts Reds had better off Ladakh Scouts Blues in the summit clash to lift the first ever J&K State Ice Hockey Championship 2018.
The maiden four-day championship was held at Leh with Ladakh Winter Sports Club being the main organisers. According to the organisers, a large number of teams participated in the championship.
Ladakh Scouts Reds dominated the tournament over the course of four days, culminating their domination with title win. The final was played at Karzu Ice Hockey Rink with Ladakh Scouts Reds winning the game easily thanks to a scoreline of 3-1 in their favour.
Gyal P Wangail Executive Councillor for Health and Youth Services, LAHDC, Leh was the Chief Guest and gave away the Championship Trophy and prizes to the winner and the runner up team.
